1. Using MyMarket ZA
MyMarket ZA, operated by MyKasi IT Hub, is a platform for discovering and offering local products, food, services and job opportunities. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not impersonate another person or create an account for unlawful or abusive activity.
3. Listings and user content
You remain responsible for content you publish. Listings must be accurate, lawful and must not infringe another person’s rights. Prohibited items, fraud, harassment, spam and misleading content are not allowed. We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
4. Food orders, payments and collection
Food businesses on MyMarket ZA are independent sellers responsible for their menus, prices, availability, preparation, quality, collection information and compliance with applicable law. MyMarket ZA provides the ordering platform and is not the seller or preparer of food unless expressly stated otherwise.
Eligible food businesses may offer online payment processed by PayFast. Other orders may be paid directly to the food business on collection. MyMarket ZA does not receive card or online-banking credentials and does not receive or hold payments made directly to a business on collection.
Food orders are currently collection-only. Customers must review the menu, total, payment method, business and collection information before submitting an order. The Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy and Delivery and Collection Policy form part of these terms.
5. Other marketplace transactions
Buyers and sellers are responsible for reviewing listing details, agreeing on fulfilment and acting safely. Unless expressly stated otherwise, MyMarket ZA provides the platform and is not the seller of user-listed goods or services. Payment processing may be provided by an independent payment provider under its own terms.
6. Local jobs
Job and service posts are supplied by users. MyMarket ZA does not guarantee a participant’s identity, qualifications, availability or suitability. Users must carry out appropriate checks and comply with applicable employment, tax and safety requirements.
7. Safety
Use good judgement when communicating, paying or meeting. Do not send passwords, verification codes or unnecessary sensitive information. Report suspicious content through the app and contact relevant authorities when immediate safety is at risk.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep MyMarket ZA reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or changed. Features may be added, removed or limited to protect the platform, comply with law or improve the experience.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MyMarket ZA is provided without guarantees that every listing, user or transaction will meet your expectations. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, unlawful activity, fraud, security risks or harm to other users.
11. Governing law and consumer rights
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Nothing in these terms or the linked policies excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under consumer-protection legislation.
